I’ve always been interested in food, nutrition and health – and the links between them! At the tender age of 33, when, by chance, I discovered a lifelong deficiency in magnesium, my health – and life – changed for the better. A similar epiphany some years later, related to low vitamin D levels, relieved me of the tiredness and low mood I had experienced every spring since childhood.
I arrived in the UK from Sweden over 40 years ago. I have been interested in and worked in the field of health since then. Initially working as an Occupational Therapist, I then qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist in 1995, and also worked as a trainer. Subsequently I trained as a Nutritional Therapist and I now use nutrition to support and empower people to achieve good health and a sense of well-being.
